We are all really excited to announce that the money made from our “Hey Mcfly!” Exhibition will towards helping Parkinson’s UK. We will be working closely in conjunction with Sarah Green, North West Regional Fundraiser to make sure the event can do as much as possible to help this great cause. In 1991, Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with the condition.
One person in every 500 has Parkinson’s. That’s about 127,000 people in the UK.
Few people realise the impact Parkinson’s Disease has on somebodies life and there is currently no cure. Fortunately there are a variety of drugs and treatments are available to manage many of the symptoms – but we can do more.
The money raised will go towards educational sessions in hospital wards, half day Parkinson’s nurse-led clinics, Parkinson’s nurses to aid people and cutting edge research projects so that one day a cure can be found.
